Thomas J. Merrick

Thomas J. Merrick, 79, of Drums, passed away Thursday evening at the Pavilion at St. Luke Village, Hazleton. 

         Born in Miami, FL, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Mae Louise (Dransfield) Merrick.

         Prior to retiring, Tom was employed for most of his career at Acme Markets, Malvern, PA.

         Tom enjoyed watching all sports, especially college football and the Little League World Series.

         Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were sisters Linda and Eva Jo.

         Surviving are his wife, Marian B. (Sporay) Merrick; and daughter Emily and son Louis.

         Honoring Tom’s wishes, no formal services will be held.

         The Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., McAdoo, is assisting the family.
