Theresa A. Cifranic, 80, of Tresckow, passed away Wednesday evening at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Homa) Didick.
She was a member of St. Michael’s B.C. Church, McAdoo, and a graduate of West Hazleton High School, class of 1957.
Prior to retiring, Theresa was first employed at Sears, Roebuck & Co., then later in the area garment industry.
Preceding her in death, were her husband George Cifranic; and sisters Olga Pollack and Mary Kokinda.
Surviving are nieces Marian Pollack of McAdoo; Theresa Minatee of Pennsauken, NJ; and Karen Laginha of Somerset, NJ; and nephew Mark Kokinda of Rockaway, NJ.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. from the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., Blaine and Cleveland Sts., McAdoo. The Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Michael’s B.C. Church, McAdoo, by Rev. Gregory Hosler. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
A calling hour will be held Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
