Steven J. Brill, 64, of McAdoo, passed away suddenly Monday at his home.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Harold “Butch” and June (Lane) Brill.
Steven was a 1979 graduate of Hazleton High School and the Vo-Tech School for Auto-Body.
Prior to retiring, he was last employed as a high-lift operator at Reynolds Consumer Prod/PACTIV, Humboldt Industrial Park.
Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing, quading, camping, boating and going to the dirt track races.
He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast and an expert detailer. His love for cars began at a young age working on cars with his dad, with his greatest love being his ’67 Chevelle.
He was a friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Preceding him in death, were his sister, Barbara Schmeer and brother, Michael Brill.
Surviving are his sisters, Sandra Greenwood and husband Stephen, of Goose Creek, SC; Lisa Waak and husband Stephen, of McAdoo; and Lori Nenstiel and husband Daniel, of Drums; nieces and nephews, Eric and Shaun Greenwood, Tiffany Brill, Mark Schmeer, Justin Ayers, and Haley and Nicholas Waak; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8, at 12 p.m in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 467 Main Street, Conyngham. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, McAdoo.
