Stephen D. Davis

Stephen D. Davis, 66, of McAdoo and formerly of Willow Grove, passed away Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

            Born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, he was the son of the Late Francis G. Davis and Maryellen (Eames) Derouin.

            He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

            Prior to retiring, Stephen was a union carpenter.

            Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were a son Stephen F. Davis; brother Joseph Derouin; and sister Barbara Davis.

             Surviving, are his wife of 46 years, Valerie (Floray) Davis; daughters Cassena Davis, South Carolina; and Maryellen Davis, McAdoo; grandchildren Corey Dunbraskey, Valerie Davis, Stephen Davis, Kylie Dillon, Taylor Dillon, and Kaitlyn Davis; great-grandson Brock Davis; brothers Mitchell Davis, Florida; Scott Davis and Mark Derouin, both of Maine; and many nieces and nephews.

            His funeral will be held Wednesday at the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., Blaine and Cleveland Streets, McAdoo.  The Rev. Jane Hess will conduct the memorial service at 7:30 p.m.   

            A calling hour will be held Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
