Stanley Stetz Obituary

Stanley J. Stetz, 79, of Tresckow, passed away suddenly Tuesday, February 24, at his home.

Born in Hartford, CT, he was the son of the late Stanley and Mary (Pavelko) Stetz, and a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.

Stanley was a Vietnam War veteran proudly serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Mullinnix. 

Prior to retiring, he was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Atlantic Carbon, Jeanesville.

Stanley was an avid trapshooter and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Tresckow Game & Gun Club and the Tresckow Hosey. He was a life member of the former Beaver Meadows VFW Post 8225.

Preceding him in death was his wife Carol (Maguschak) Stetz.

Surviving are his brother, Joseph Stetz, Haddock; nephews, Michael and Joseph M. Stetz; niece Tammy Stetz; and great-nieces and nephews.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 16, at 11 a.m. in Church of All Saints, McAdoo. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.

A calling hour will be held Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. in church.
