Simonette "Sam" DeBalko, 66, of McAdoo, passed away suddenly Thursday evening at home.
Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Sophie (Mogilsky) Duke.
Simonette was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her sister Diane Lill, and brothers Chester and Robert Jasinsky.
Surviving, are her husband of 45 years, Joseph DeBalko; son Joseph DeBalko and wife Maryann of Fleetwood; daughter Stephanie Lazur and husband Robert of Freeland; grandchildren Benjamin, Nicholas, Reese and Emma; sisters Frances Golder and Jenny Snyder, both of Summit Hill; Donata Bynon of Lansford; and Denise Biacco of Easton; nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., Blaine and Cleveland Streets, McAdoo.
