Ruth (Kubishin) Dercole

Ruth Dercole, 88, of McAdoo, passed away Saturday morning at St. Luke Pavilion, Hazleton.

            Born in McAdoo, she was the daughter of the late George and Jean (Pernitsky) Kubishin.

            She was a member of the former St. Kunegunda’s R.C. Church, McAdoo.

            Ruth was a graduate of McAdoo High School, class of 1947.

            Prior to retiring, Ruth was employed in the area garment industry.

            She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

            Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her brother Richard Kubishin.

            Surviving, are her husband of 66 years, Victor Dercole; daughter Jacqueline Dercole and fiancé Thomas Hill of White Haven; grandson Stephen Eisenhart, Jr., of Drums; and nieces and nephews also survive.

            Her funeral will be held Friday. Rev. Barnabas Shayo will conduct the service at 11 a.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., Blaine and Cleveland Sts., McAdoo. Interment will follow in St. Kunegunda’s R. C. Cemetery, McAdoo.  

             A calling hour will be held Friday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
