Robert J. Kasarda

Robert J. Kasarda, 42, of McAdoo, passed away Thursday at his residence.

Born in Northampton County, he is the son of Robert and Margaret (Billig) Kasarda, of McAdoo. 

Bobby was a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo, and a graduate of Hazleton Area High School, class of 2000. He was employed as a truck driver for 924 Hauling, Hazleton. He was also a volunteer firefighter with several area fire companies.

He was a true outdoorsman. He loved spending time in the woods, riding his four-wheelers and side-by-sides, and cherished the time with his son.

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents John and Helen Kasarda and maternal grandparents Carl and Helen Billig.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his son, Nicholas J. Kasarda, of Tresckow; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

His funeral will be held Friday.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Church of All Saints, McAdoo. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.

A calling hour will be held Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
