Rita Krushinsky, 80, of Still Creek, passed away Saturday evening at St. Luke Pavilion, Hazleton.
Born in McAdoo, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Mary (Rush) Barna.
Rita was a member of St. Mary’s U.C. Church, McAdoo.
Prior to retiring, she was employed in the area garment industry, and later, at Hills Dept. Store of West Hazleton.
Rita was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society for many years. She also enjoyed attending Silver Sneakers classes.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed.
Preceding her in death, were her husband Joseph L. Krushinsky; granddaughter Kayla Knepper; and brothers Steve and Robert Barna.
Surviving are her son Joseph L. Krushinsky, Jr., of Still Creek; daughter Nadine Knepper and husband Michael of Delaware; grandchildren Dina Daniels and husband Joseph; Stacia Riccio; and David Lopez; great-grandchildren Noah, Joseph and Ivy Rose Daniels, and Malia and Scarlett Riccio; and nieces and nephews also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s U.C. Church, McAdoo. The Rev. D. George Worschak will be celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
No public calling hours will be held.
