Patricia A. "Tricia" (Labert) Kuchera

Patricia A. “Tricia” Kuchera, 52, of McAdoo, passed away Monday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton. 

Born in Hazleton, she is the daughter of Patricia (Marasiak) Labert of Tresckow and the late Joseph C. Labert.

She was a member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Hazleton.

Tricia was employed at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton as a Respiratory Therapist, where she provided loving care to every patient she encountered over the 30 years she worked there. 

She was an avid football and Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  Tricia enjoyed decorating for the holidays, trips to the casino, watching movies, morning coffee with her mom, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Tricia was a wonderful and caring daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who was deeply loved and will be truly missed. 

Preceding her in death, was her father Joseph C. Labert, husband John A. Kuchera, sister Darlene Marie Labert, and father-in-law John B. Kuchera. 

Surviving, in addition to her mother Patricia, are her son John A. Kuchera of McAdoo; brother Joseph Labert and wife Marissa of Eagle Rock; brother John Paul Labert and girlfriend Colleen Kearney of Bennington, Vermont; sister Theresa Labert of Tresckow; brother Jeffery Labert and fiancé Brittany Tomlin of Delano; sister Linda Keating and husband Ian of Weatherly; and sister Melissa Labert and fiancé Chris Girard of McAdoo; mother-in-law Mary Alyce Kuchera of Haddock; boyfriend Michael Yanuzzi of Lattimer; friend who was like a sister Amy Bittenbender of Hazle Township, and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., Blaine and Cleveland Sts., McAdoo. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday. Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery, McAdoo.
