Nicholas J. Pane IV, 36, of Nanticoke and formerly of Hazleton passed away Monday at his residence.
Born in Hazleton, he is the son of Nicholas R. Pane III, of Hazleton, and Cynthia (McCann) Pupko, of Sugarloaf.
Nicholas was a graduate of Bishop Hafey High School, class of 2006. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology in 2010 from the Gwynedd Mercy University, Gwynedd Valley, PA. He was currently employed as an IT Specialist for Keystone Job Corps, Drums.
Nicholas enjoyed playing softball, NHRA drag racing, the Minnesota Vikings and listening to music. He had a passion for fixing Hondas, video gaming and outdoor concerts with family and friends.
Nicholas loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his beloved nephew, Omari.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandfather, Nicholas M. Pane Jr. and maternal grandfather, John J. McCann.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his sisters, Dominique Pane, of Plains; Gabriella Pane, of Conyngham; and Adrianna Pane, of Sugarloaf; stepfather, Timothy Pupko, of Sugarloaf; stepsister, Amy Polizzi and husband Tim; stepbrother, Nicholas Pupko and wife Kayla; paternal grandmother, Mary Pane, of Hazle Twp; maternal grandmother, Joan Marie McCann, of Baltimore, MD; nephew, Omari Alexander; and several aunts, uncles, step nieces and nephews, and cousins also survive.
His funeral will be held Saturday, October 12th. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Good Shepherd Church, Drums, by Rev. Eugene Ritz, with Pastor Louis Aita and Sister Patricia McCann.
Calling hours will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the church.
