Nancy H. Postupack, 88, of Still Creek, passed away suddenly Monday evening at her home.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Helen Yankowicz.
Nancy was a lifelong, devoted church member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, McAdoo.
Prior to retiring, she was the President of Northeastern Hydroseeding Co., Inc., and proprietor of Tree House Garden Supply, of Hometown.
Nancy was a member of St. Olha Society and an active member of the League of Ukrainian Catholics. She was a dedicated pyrohi maker for her parish. Nancy loved her Ukrainian heritage, enjoyed embroidery and passing the traditions onto her family like making butter lambs for Easter baskets.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be sadly missed by all.
Preceding her in death, were her husband Stephen Postupack; and a son Michael Postupack.
Surviving are her children, Constance Postupack of Bethlehem, Wayne Postupack and wife Judy of Still Creek, Stephanie Nagle and husband Christopher of Perkasie, Romayne Joseph and husband Charles of Lake Hauto, Andrea Boaman and husband Dave of Phoenixville, Stacia Scaduto and husband Joseph of Lewes, DE, and Matthew Postupack and wife Sherry of Still Creek; grandchildren Taryn, Mykel, Samantha, Natasha, Zachary, Cailyn, Aaron, Matthew, Nicholas, and Alyssa; great-grandchildren Kaiden and Daemyn; and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Her funeral will be held Friday beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., McAdoo. Rev. D. George Worschak will celebrate the Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, McAdoo, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Ss. Cyril and Methodius Postupack Family Cemetery, Weatherly.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. A Parastas Service will be held at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 210 W. Blaine St., McAdoo, PA 18237 or to Ss. Cyril and Methodius Postupack Family Cemetery.
