Nadine M. Durishin

Nadine M. Durishin, 60, of Tresckow, passed away Saturday evening at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, after a brief illness.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Donald J. and Jean (Hladish) Durishin.

Nadine was a member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Hazleton, and a graduate of West Hazleton High School. 

She was employed as a loan specialist for OneMain Financial, Hazleton.

Nadine enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening, and was a devoted caregiver to her mother for years. She enjoyed watching football and was a passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan. 

Surviving are her sister, Lisa Durishin of Northampton; Aunts, Martha Kushnar, Mary Dvorak, and Lubow Powers; and many cousins also survive.

Her funeral will be held Thursday beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home Inc., McAdoo.  Rev. Brian Clarke will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Hazleton. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s R.C. Cemetery, Tresckow.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
