Mary Ann “Marion” Gorski, 86, of New Coxeville, passed away Monday morning at the Manor at St. Luke Village, Hazleton.
Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Glaydura) Capulich.
She was a member of St. Michael’s B.C. Church, McAdoo, and a graduate of McAdoo High School, class of 1952.
Prior to retiring, Marion was employed in the area garment industry.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother and will be sadly missed.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband John J. Gorski, Sr.; brother Michael Capulich; and great-grandson Liam John Gilbert.
Surviving, are her son John J. Gorski, Jr., of New Coxeville; daughter Maryann Gorski-Mears and husband John, of McAdoo; grandchildren Mariana Gilbert and husband Joseph; and John Patrick Mears; great-grandchildren Emma Marie, Nicolai Joseph and Cade Patrick; and brother Matthew Capulich, of McAdoo.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in St. Michael’s B.C. Cemetery, McAdoo. Rev. Gregory Hosler will officiate the service.
