Mary (Girosky) Stronko

Mary Stronko, 94, of McAdoo, passed away Tuesday evening at Weatherwood Nursing Center,  Weatherly. 

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Molchin) Girosky.

She was a member of the former Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, McAdoo.

Preceding her in death, were her husband George Stronko; brothers Andrew, Peter, Stephen, and Edward Girosky; and sisters Helen Ferrence and Anna King.

Surviving, are her nieces and nephews and also great-nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Monday at the Damiano Funeral Home Inc., McAdoo.  Rev. Robert Teklinski will conduct the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Cemetery, McAdoo.

A calling hour will be held Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
