Mary T. (Lazur) Meyers

Mary T. Meyers, 64, of McAdoo, passed away suddenly Sunday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.  

            Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Reba) Lazur. 

            She was a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.

            Prior to retiring, she was employed at Boyer’s Food Market, Tamaqua.

            Mary was a devoted and loving, wife, mother and grandmother, and will be sadly missed.

            Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, is her brother Thomas Lazur.

             Surviving, are her husband of 40 years, Stephen W. Meyers; son Kevin Balascik, of Sunbury; grandson Braedan; sisters Elizabeth Sabo and Christine Helmer, both of McAdoo; brothers John Lazur, of West Hazleton, Michael Lazur, of McAdoo, and Joseph Lazur, of Conyngham; and many nieces and nephews also survive. 

            Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
