Martha Pellock, 91, of McAdoo, passed away Tuesday evening at Hometown Nursing Center, Tamaqua.
Born in McAdoo, Martha was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Maschak) Matweecha.
She was a member of St. Michael’s B.C. Church, McAdoo.
Prior to retiring, Martha was employed in the area garment industry.
Preceding her in death were her husband Joseph Pellock; daughter Mary Jo Cartwright; sister Mary Semasek; brothers Michael, Peter, Anthony and Paul Matweecha, and Roger Mathieu.
Surviving, are daughters Julianne Bubel and husband Michael of Hometown; and Martha Yanuzzi and husband Ronald of Hazle Twp.; grandchildren Kristopher Bubel and wife Samantha; Matthew Bubel; Laura Cartwright and companion John; William Cartwright III and companion Andy; Samantha Stauffer and husband Stephen; Ronelle Yanuzzi and fiancé Justin Nemshick; great-grandchildren Wren and Mason; brother Eugene Matweecha of McAdoo; and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the Damiano Funeral Home Inc., Blaine and Cleveland Sts., McAdoo. Rev. Gregory Hosler will celebrate the Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Michael’s B.C. Church, McAdoo.
Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
