Martha E. (Frask) Notaro

Martha E. Notaro, 79, of Kelayres, passed away Wednesday morning at her home.

         Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (LaRose) Frask.

         Martha was a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.

         Prior to retiring, she was employed in the local garment industry.

         Martha was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.  She also enjoyed taking trips to the casinos.

         Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents were, sisters Florence and Dana Frask, Geneva Ryba and Arlene Coll; and brothers Peter, Anthony Jr., and Angelo Frask.

         Surviving, are her husband of 57 years Michael A. Notaro, Jr.; daughters Mary Frances Verrastro and husband Thomas, West Hazleton; Michele Notaro, Hazleton; and Margaret Rose Notaro, Hazleton; grandchildren Angela Dawit and husband Nicholas; and Jaclyn Korinchock and husband Adam; sister Marie Frask, Hazleton; Rose Gallo, Allentown; and Dolores Gombeda, Hazleton; brother Genaro Frask, Hazleton; and many nieces and nephews.

         Her funeral will be held Monday.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Church of All Saints, McAdoo, at 11 a.m.  Rev. Eugene Ritz will be the celebrant.  Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, McAdoo.

         Calling hours will be held Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the church.

         The Damiano Funeral Home Inc., McAdoo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
