Marian (Eisenman) McHugh

Marian McHugh, 84, of Kline Twp., passed away Wednesday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton. 

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Julia (Hupcey) Eisenman.

Marian was a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo, and a former member of the parish choir. She was also a graduate of McAdoo High School.

Marian loved the simple things in life, especially flowers. She was a devoted caregiver and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, who will be greatly missed by all. On any given day you would find the house full of family. Marian was a wonderful Mother and Nana. Some of the best memories with her included a cup of tea and inside jokes.

Preceding her in death, were her husband Daniel McHugh; daughter Eileen McHugh; twin sister Marlene Eisenman; sisters Janet Forrest, Julie Ann Bersavage, and Theresa Eisenman; brothers Michael and John Eisenman.

Surviving are her daughters Monica Wills and husband Robert of McAdoo; and Linda McHugh of McAdoo; grandchildren Robert and Amanda Wills, Michaeleen Farley, Michael ‘Jake’ Merenda, Danielle Minzola and John Miller; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters Helen Roslevege, Monica Zapotosky, and Martha Mallets; brother Herbert Eisenman; and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., McAdoo.  Rev. Msgr. William Baker and Rev. Eugene Ritz will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Church of All Saints, McAdoo. A private committal service will be held the convenience of the family in St. Patrick’s R.C. Cemetery, McAdoo.

Calling hours are Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
