Margaret Moskovich, 94, formerly of West Hazleton and a resident of The Laurels Senior Living Community, Hazle Twp, passed away Sunday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.
Born in Freeland, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen (Novotnak) Uricheck.
Margaret was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Transfiguration Church, West Hazleton, and a member of Daughters of Mercy of the parish.
Prior to retiring, she was employed at Boscov’s Dept. Store, Hazleton, for many years.
Margaret enjoyed cooking, crocheting, Swedish weaving, dancing, and spending time with her beloved family.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother and will be sadly missed by all.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her loving husband Emil Moskovich, Sr.; infant daughter Carolyn Moskovich; infant brother George Uricheck; sisters Irene Fisher and husband LeRoy and Helen Smisko and husband John; brother-in-law Thomas Novotnak, Sr.; son-in-law Herbert Webb; and grandson Michael Moskovich.
Surviving are her beloved children Emil Moskovich, Jr. of Florida, Mary Ann Webb of Allentown, Nancy Duff and husband Dave of Florida, and Ronald Moskovich and wife Debbie of Kline Twp.
Margaret was so proud of her children’s accomplishments and enjoyed many years together.
Also surviving are her grandchildren Mark Moskovich and wife Rachel, Julie Moskovich-Delp, Heather and Brian Webb, and Robert Haines; great-grandchildren Isaac, Samuel, Jonathon, and Jeremiah Moskovich; Luke and Ava Moskovich and Travis and Tyler Pequignot; and Collin Webb; great-great grandchildren Lucy and Hazel Webb; sisters Martha Novotnak, Marie Guza and husband Philip, and Theresa Hollad and husband Bernie; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Damiano Funeral Home Inc., Blaine and Cleveland Streets, McAdoo.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Parish at Transfiguration Church, West Hazleton.
Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Slovak Cemetery, Hazleton.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
