Kaitlyn C. Hinkle

Kaitlyn C. Hinkle, 22, of Weatherly and McAdoo, passed away Sunday, September 30 in Altoona.

         Born in Kingston, she is the daughter of Thomas C. Hinkle of Weatherly and Lisa (Peiser) Hinkle of McAdoo.   

         Kaitlyn was of the Protestant faith.

         She was a graduate of Weatherly High School, class of 2014.  

         Kaitlyn enjoyed music and played several different instruments.  She wrote poetry and enjoyed taking quad rides through the woods. As a child, she participated on several local sports teams. Kaitlyn had a love for animals, especially her pet cats and dogs.

         Preceding her in death, were her maternal grandmother Janice Peiser; and paternal grandparents Elmer J. and Laverne (Kunkel) Hinkle.

         Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her brother Christian Hinkle of Weatherly; sister Lauren Gerhard and husband Chad of Florida; godmother Missy Leshko of Florida; godfather Christopher Peiser of Drums; Aunts, Uncles and cousins also survive.

         A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown.  The Rev. Sharon Frye will officiate the service.

         In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to help with expenses to be made to the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., 24 E. Blaine St., McAdoo, PA 18237.
