Joseph L. Krushinsky, Sr., 83, of Still Creek, passed away Sunday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
Born in Haddock, he was the son of the Late John and Anna (Yaworsky) Krushinsky.
Joseph was a member of St. Mary’s U.C. Church, McAdoo.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Prior to retiring, Joseph was a manger for McAdoo Manufacturing, Franglo of Hazleton, and a Founding Partner of JoeVille Manufacturing of Danville, and later he was a bakery manager for area grocery stores.
Joseph was an American Cancer Society volunteer and a former Scout Leader of Pack 83, Hometown.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was a granddaughter Kayla Knepper; and siblings Gregory, Russell and John Bahrey, Johanna Perlowski, and Rose, Eleanor and Edward Krushinsky.
Surviving, are his wife of 56 years, Rita (Barna) Krushinsky; son Joseph L. Krushinsky, Jr., of Still Creek; daughter Nadine Knepper and husband Michael, of Hazleton; grandchildren Dina (Powell) Daniels and husband Joseph, of North Carolina; Stacia (Powell) Riccio and husband Anthony, of McAdoo; and David Lopez, of San Francisco, CA; great-grandchildren Noah Higham and Joseph L. Daniels; and Malia and Scarlett Riccio; and nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Wednesday from the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., Blaine and Cleveland Streets, McAdoo, at 9 a.m. Rev. Msgr. James Melnic will conduct the funeral service at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s U.C. Church, McAdoo. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
