John P. “Jack” Yanoshik, 96, of Lofty, passed away Saturday morning at Neshaminy Manor, Warrington, PA.
Born in Lofty, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary Yanoshik.
Jack was a member of the US Navy Reserves and a parishioner of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.
Prior to retiring, Jack was a longtime proprietor of Twins Auto Sales, Lofty. He was a true car enthusiast, he especially had a love for American-made cars, new and old.
A sports fan, Jack loved his Pennsylvania teams, the Phillies, Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Preceding him in death were his wife Dorothy (Scrbacic) Yanoshik; sons, John “Jake” and Mark S. Yanoshik; brothers, Francis, Stephen, Carl, Joseph, and twin brother, George Yanoshik; and sister, Mary Takach.
Surviving are his daughter, Marianne Dougherty and husband, Richard of Ambler; daughter-in-law, Kathy Yanoshik of Edinboro; grandchildren, Daniel Dougherty and wife, Samantha; and Sara Leitzel and husband, Patrick; great-grandchildren, Richie, Katie, Grace and Joseph Leitzel, and Martin Dougherty; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. No public calling hours are scheduled.
