John J. Supon, 75, of Hazleton, passed away suddenly Monday evening at his home.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Frank and Esther (Williams) Supon.
John was a Vietnam War veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
He was of the Protestant faith.
Prior to retiring, he was employed as a truck driver.
John was a member of the Pulaski Club and the McAdoo VFW Post 6708.
Preceding him in death, were his sister Marion Milore, and brother Llewellyn “Butch” Supon.
Surviving are his daughters Karen Doyle and husband Terry, of Virginia; and Lisa Kauker and husband Michael, of Drums; grandchildren Terry “Chip”, Sebastian, and Trinity Doyle; sister Karen Zapotosky, of West Hazleton; and brother Frank Supon, of McAdoo; and nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. John’s Cemetery, Drums.
