Jean A. Stefanisko, 83, of McAdoo, passed away Monday morning at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Philadelphia.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Mary (Kriznoski) Petrole.
Jean was a devoted and faithful member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.
Prior to retiring, she was a seamstress in the local garment industry.
Jean was an avid reader and a proud homemaker. She found great joy in preparing meals and caring for her beloved family. She was a member of the Activity Committee for her parish and the Prime Timers Club.
Preceding her in death, were her husband, Donald J. Stefanisko; and infant sister, Lisa Petrole.
Surviving, are her son Mark Stefanisko and wife, Tracey of Swedesboro, NJ; grandchildren, Luke and Taylor Stefanisko; sisters, Marietta Pretti of Bethlehem and Sandra Gabriel of Connecticut; brother, Nick Petrole of Hazleton; and nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Friday, October 17. The Rev. Barnabas Shayo will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Church of All Saints, McAdoo. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s R.C. Cemetery, McAdoo.
A calling hour will be held Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
