James C. Cooper, 52, of Hazle Twp., passed away Monday afternoon at home with his loving family at his side, after a year-long battle with cancer.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the Late William and Anna (Fedorko) Cooper.
He was of the Roman Catholic faith.
James loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed working on his cars, especially Ford Mustangs. He was a handyman, fixing everything he can.
Surviving, are his wife of 25 years, Mary (Herron) Cooper; daughter Cheyenne Cooper and fiancé Jeffrey Payne; and son Brandon Cooper, both at home; granddaughter Charlotte; brothers William Cooper and wife Joanne of Mohnton; and Gary Cooper and wife Lori of Freeland; and nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Friday at Faith U.C.C., Hazle Twp. Rev. Jane Hess will conduct the service at 11 a.m.
A calling hour will be held Friday at the church from 10 a.m. to the time of service.
The Damiano Funeral Home, McAdoo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
