Irene G. Megasko

Irene G. Megasko, 91, of McAdoo, passed away Wednesday at Heather Glen Senior Living, Allentown.

         Born in McAdoo, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth (Pohlod) Megasko.

         Irene was a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.

         Prior to retiring at the age of 81, she was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for 63 years at the McAdoo Post Office.

         Surviving, are her brother John Megasko and wife Rita of Pottstown; sister Florence Pasda of Wescosville; nieces and nephews Mark and Alan Pasda, Karen DeCrosta, Rita Lese, and Gerald and Ronald Megasko; and several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

         Her funeral will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., Blaine and Cleveland Streets, McAdoo.  Rev. Msgr. William Baker will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Church of All Saints, McAdoo.

         Interment will follow in St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery, McAdoo.

         A calling hour will be held Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
