Gloria (Etzoola) Rinker, 99, of McAdoo, passed away Tuesday morning at Fritzingertown Senior Living Community, Drums.
Gloria was born January 24th,1924 and was the daughter of the late August and Rose (Etzoola) Yanoshik. Gloria was a long-time member of Salem Lutheran church in Audenried and later a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Hazleton.
She was a 1942 graduate of McAdoo HS and in 1945 married the late Robert Rinker (d.2002) with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. She was employed as a seamstress at Sportscraft in McAdoo and afterwards at St. Luke Manor, Hazleton.
Gloria enjoyed spending her time on arts and crafts and sewing and loved tending to her garden. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be sadly missed.
Preceding her in death, were her husband Robert Rinker; brother Jake Yanoshik; and granddaughter Nicole Mushock.
Surviving are her sons Robert Rinker and wife Barbara, of Sacramento, Ca; David Rinker and wife Nancy, of McAdoo; daughter Judy Manganelli and husband Mike, of Lattimer; son James Rinker and wife Terri, of Reading; grandchildren, Ben (Rachel), Stacie (Jeffrey), Sara (Eric), Suzanne, Michael (Amanda), Joshua, Melissa, Michael (Erin), and Angela; great-grandchildren, Mia, Michael, Oliva, Jillian, Bria, Shawna, Ella, Eli, Paley, and Jacob; great-great-grandchildren Quinn and Adonis; and like a daughter, her best friend and neighbor, Maryann Graino, of McAdoo.
Private services will be held. Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
