George P. Yanoshik, Sr., 91, died peacefully Wednesday evening December 30, 2020 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem, PA, where he most recently resided. Born December 1, 1929 in Lofty, PA, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary (Urinchak) Yanoshik. He and his identical twin brother John (Jack) Yanoshik were life-long owners of Twins Auto Sales in the Greater Hazleton area. He is survived by sons George Yanoshik, Jr. of Phoenixville, PA; David Yanoshik of Bethlehem Township, PA; stepdaughter Kimberly Kellenbenz of Eagleville, PA; grandchildren Kara and Kyle Kellenbenz; his twin, Jack and wife Dorothy; Rita, spouse of Shan, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings Stephen, Jr.; Francis (Shan); Carl and Joseph; and a sister, Mary Takach. Also preceding him in death were his wife Jacqueline (Jacqui) and stepson, James McMullen.
A private visitation for family only will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Damiano Funeral Home, 24 E. Blaine Street, McAdoo, PA. Friends and family may join a brief graveside visitation at 11:30 a.m. prior to internment at St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery, Washington Street in McAdoo. COVID limitations apply to both the indoor visitation and outdoor visitation where masks and social distancing will be required. A celebration of life may be planned by the family at a later date.
