Frank N. Supon, 79, of McAdoo, passed away Tuesday at his residence.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Frank and Esther (Williams) Supon.
Frank was a U.S. Army veteran and of the Protestant faith.
Prior to retiring, he was employed at Consolidated Cigar Corp. and first employed at the Hazleton Brick Plant.
Frank was a lifetime member of the McAdoo V.F.W. Post 6708, where he was also a bartender for several years and known as ‘Uncle Frankie’.
Preceding him in death, were his daughter Sherry Lynn Supon; sister Marion Milore; brothers Llewellyn ‘Butch’ Supon and John Supon; niece Josette Supon and nephew Gerald Zapotosky.
Surviving are his children, Frank N. Jr., Annette, Kimberly, and Mario; sister Karen Zapotosky of West Hazleton; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in St. John’s Cemetery, Drums. Rev. Jane Hess will officiate.
