Frank "Chic" Perna

Frank “Chic” Perna, 80, of Kelayres passed away Tuesday at St. Luke Manor, Hazleton.

Born in Kelayres, he was the son of the late Adam and Angeline (Cesario) Perna.

Frank was a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.

He was a custodian for the former Immaculate Conception Church, Kelayres, for 25 years.

Frank enjoyed spending time on his porch with his friends.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his brother, Anthony Perna.

Surviving are his sisters, Angeline Marchalk and Anna Marie Ruby, both of Kelayres; an aunt, Maureen Cesario, Kelayres; and nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from Damiano Funeral Home Inc., Blaine and Cleveland streets, McAdoo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Church of All Saints. Monsignor William Baker will be the celebrant.

Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, McAdoo. 

Calling hours will be Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
