Eugene M. Pohida, 88, of Haddock, passed away Friday morning at the Manor at St. Luke Village, Hazleton.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Schwalm) Pohida.
Eugene was a U.S. Army veteran.
Preceding him in death, were his brothers Gerald and Wayne Pohida.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Mary B. (Butcher) Pohida; sons Christopher Pohida and companion Betsy Urzillo, of Sugarloaf; and Barry Pohida and wife Bree, of Haddock: granddaughter and the love of his life, Bryn “Baby B” Pohida; sisters Beverly Selby and husband John, of Conyngham; and Darlene Pohida of Hazleton; niece Karen Strauss; and nephews Gerald, Glenn, Wayne and David Pohida.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., McAdoo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
