Edward "Ned" McGrady

Edward “Ned” McGrady of Bloomsburg died April 27, 2023 at age 67. He was a graduate of Central Columbia High School where he was a member of the wrestling team. He loved sports, and was also a member of the Bloomsburg Y.M.C.A.

Ned was employed by Sears Roebuck & Company in their catalog department and then spent several years working for ARA Food Services at Bloomsburg University. 

He attended St. Columba’s Roman Catholic Church, Bloomsburg and will be buried in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in McAdoo.

Ned was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary T. McGrady and his brother Brian McGrady.

Surviving are a sister, Rosemary, and her husband, John Kovach, of Massachusetts; and sister-in-law, Regina McGrady, four nephews, a niece, five great nephews, and a great niece, all of Massachusetts.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 2 at 11 a.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home Inc., McAdoo. Visitors may pay their respects at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to the time of service.
