Edgar D. Adams, 84, of Tresckow, passed away Wednesday at St. Luke Pavilion, Hazleton.
He was born in Richmond, Kentucky and of the Protestant faith.
Edgar was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
Prior to retiring, he was employed at Princeton Packaging.
Preceding him in death, were his wife Arlene M. Adams, parents, one sister and two brothers.
Surviving, are his sons Arthur Adams and wife Rebecca of Hazleton; Peyton Adams of McAdoo; Kevin Adams of Wilkes-Barre; and Edgar D. Adams, Jr. and wife Lisa of Tresckow; Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews also survive.
His funeral will be held Monday at the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., Blaine and Cleveland Streets, McAdoo. The Rev. Jane Hess will conduct the memorial service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
A calling hour will be held Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
