Diane Alice Eisenman, 73, of McAdoo peacefully entered the gates of heaven on April 16, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Hazleton on January 5, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Mehalchin) Price.
An avid gardener and exceptional cook, you would always find her in the kitchen making bake sale goods and perfecting family recipes that will carry on. Her love reflected that of Jesus Christ and her service to others exemplified the Holy Spirit that lived within her. She was a lifetime and active member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Audenried and was honored to be a choir member and teach Sunday school for nearly 50 years.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, going on camping adventures, picking then canning fruits and vegetables with her husband, outdoor movie nights, and participating in church functions. One of her favorite pastimes was listening to the Polkas every Sunday and watching classic television shows. She worked as an election poll clerk and inspector and would always lend a helping hand to whomever needed it. You would never find her without a smile on her face.
Preceding her in death, was her sister Lily Mae Dormer and husband Michael “Moe” Dormer.
She was a devoted wife of 50 years to Herbert Eisenman and together had four wonderful children, Herbie G. Eisenman and fiancée Gladys Pachkoski of Ashland; Theresa Tracy of Edinburg, VA; Mary Eisenman of McAdoo; and Sarah Eisenman of Haddock; along with four grandchildren Vanessa, Jessica, and Erica Tracy and Michael Paisley, Jr.; great grandchildren, Ellie and Bria; brothers, Walter Price and wife Mary Ruth, and Ronald Price and wife Donna, all of McAdoo; and many nieces and nephews also survive.
Her funeral will begin Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., McAdoo. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. in Salem Lutheran Evangelical Church, Audenried. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s B.C. Cemetery, McAdoo.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
