Dennis J. Moylan, 73, of McAdoo, and formerly of Eagle Rock, passed away suddenly Saturday evening at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Ridgefield, CT, he was the son of the late Francis P. and Pauline (Frulla) Moylan and was of the Roman Catholic faith.
Dennis was the proprietor of MAC (Moylan Aluminum Construction). He was also employed at Techni-Clean and during the winter he was always busy plowing snow.
Dennis was an avid golfer, and he enjoyed the art of gardening. He was always appreciative and a lifelong supporter of all first responders.
His most enjoyment came from spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren, he will be greatly missed by all.
Preceding him in death were his first wife Sheila (Krinsky) Carey; second wife Gypsy (Gillette) Moylan; stepson Nathan Gillette; and brother Frank “Chipper” Moylan.
Surviving are his daughter Jennifer Wesner and husband Robert of McAdoo; granddaughters Mercedes, McKenzie and Marissa; stepson Shawn Gillette; stepdaughter Angel Gillette and husband Mike; grandchildren Nate, Jacob, Dominique, and Eddie; sisters Margaret Norris and husband James of CT; Barbara Picard and husband Brian of New Hampshire; and Carol Moylan of Delaware; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
