Creda E. (Eramo) Sebia

Creda E. Sebia, 95, of West Penn Twp. and formerly Hazleton, passed away Thursday evening at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Kelayres, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Petrina “Anna” (Dino) Eramo.

Creda was a longtime member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Hazleton, and devoted to her faith.

Prior to retiring, she was employed in the local garment industry.

Creda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was compassionate and enjoyed visiting residents at nursing homes just to make them smile. Creda was also a wonderful cook. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and will be sadly missed by all.

Preceding her in death, were her husband Neil Sebia, son Alfonso J. Sebia, brother Louis Eramo, and sisters Maryann Gombeda and Frances Tabino.

Surviving, are her grandchildren, Angela Haskins and husband Tom of West Penn Twp.; Alfonso J. Sebia, Jr. of Weatherly; Michael Grablick and wife Jessica of Maryland; Erin Sebia of Hazleton; and Rachel Sebia and husband Joshua Hill of Lehighton; great-grandchildren, Kasey, Dylan, Tyler, Allison, Julia, Maria, Matthew, David, Christopher, Madison, Riley and Evelyn;  and great-great-grandson Christopher; brother Vincent Eramo and wife Monica of Kelayres; sister Jennie Eramo of Kelayres; and many nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday at 6 pm at Christ Evangelical Free Church, Lehighton.  Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 6 pm. in the church.

Interment will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, McAdoo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ Evangelical Free Church, 2420 Blakeslee Boulevard West, Lehighton, PA 18235.
