Brandon M. Novatnak

Brandon M. Novatnak, 19, of 121 W. Sherman St., McAdoo, passed away suddenly on Saturday.

         Born in Hazleton, he is the son of Melissa (Herbinko) Treskolasky of McAdoo and Robert J. Novatnak of Hazleton.

         He is of the Roman Catholic faith.

         Brandon is a graduate of Marian Catholic High School, class of 2017.  He was a member of the Marian Colts Football Team. 

         Brandon enjoyed camping, fishing and being with his friends and family. 

         Preceding him in death, were his paternal great-grandfather Harold Mondero; maternal grandfather Robert J. Herbinko, Sr; and an uncle Robert J. Herbinko, Jr.

         Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his stepfather John Treskolasky, of McAdoo; sisters Mya Paisley and Hailey Treskolasky, both at home; maternal grandmother Judith Novotnak and husband John, of Hazleton; maternal great-grandparents Robert and Joan Herbinko, of Hazleton; paternal grandmother Michele Mondero, of Hollywood; paternal grandfather Robert J. Novatnak, Sr., of Jeddo; paternal great-grandmother Dorothy Novatnak, of Beaver Meadows; paternal great-grandmother Esther Mondero, of Beaver Meadows; aunt Rosemarie Letcher and husband Jason of McAdoo; uncle Jason Herbinko and wife Jill of Highspire; aunt Harley Bobby and husband Lance, of Black Creek Twp.; uncle Angelo Rodriguez, of Lattimer; and several cousins also survive.

         A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., Blaine and Cleveland Sts., McAdoo. The Rev. Msgr. William Baker will officiate the service.

         Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
