Bradley W. Horvath, 53, of Silverbrook, passed away suddenly Thursday morning at home.
Born in Hazleton, he is the son of the late Robert and Myrna (Brown) Horvath, Sr.
Brad was a graduate of Hazleton High School and of the Ukrainian Catholic faith.
He excelled as a heavy equipment operator. Mangler, as he was known to many in the industry, spent many of his last working years of his employment for Russell Postupack.
Brad was a social member of the McAdoo VFW Post 6708. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time in his garage on woodworking projects and listening to Grateful Dead music.
Brad had a heart of gold and was a friend to many, he will be greatly missed by all.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was a half-brother Dane Horvath.
Surviving, are his loving wife of 5 years Jean (Preputnick) Horvath, and her children Carrie (Miller) Minzola and husband Darren, Tresckow and Michael Miller, McAdoo; sisters, Linda O’Donnell and husband Joe, New Mexico; Catherine Clerkin, Bernville; and Eva ‘Sissy’ Horvath, Ohio; and brother, Robert ‘Butch’ Horvath, Jr. and wife Renee, Silverbrook; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets ‘Benzo’ and ‘Mortymer’.
Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home Inc., McAdoo.
