Betty Jane (Bachart) Herring

Betty Jane Herring, 33, of Weatherly, passed away suddenly Monday at home.

            Born in Hazleton, she is the daughter of Norman and Virginia (Evans) Bachart of Weatherly.

            Betty Jane was a member of St. Matthew’s UCC, Weatherly.

            She was a Weatherly High School graduate, class of 2003, and also received an Associate Degree from McCann School of Business.

             Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her son Jacob Herring; brothers Robert Bachart, Weatherly; Thomas Bachart, Las Vegas, NV; and Carl Bachart, Weatherly; and a niece, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

            Her funeral will be held Tuesday.  Rev. Sharon Frye will conduct the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., Blaine and Cleveland Streets, McAdoo. Interment will follow in St. Matthew’s UCC Cemetery, Weatherly; a blessing will be held in the church prior to interment.

            A calling hour will be held Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
