Betty Jane Lozosky, 89, of West Hazleton, passed away suddenly Wednesday evening at her home.
Born in Jeanesville, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Elsie (Weber) Williams.
Betty Jane was a graduate of Hazleton High School, class of 1951 and was a member of St. John Bosco R.C. Church, Conyngham.
Prior to retiring, she was employed in the area garment industry.
Betty Jane was a former member of the Red Hat Society, and she enjoyed going on shopping trips. She was a motherly influence to many family members.
Betty Jane was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and sister, and will be sadly missed by all.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband Raymond Lozosky; and sister Venetta Campbell.
Surviving are her daughters Patricia Lozosky of West Hazleton; and Elizabeth Lozosky Laylo and her husband Robert of Kelayres; sister Arlene Hollenbach of Selinsgrove; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Capriotti’s, One Banks Ave., McAdoo, with calling hours from 9:30 to 11a.m. The Rev. James Paisley will officiate.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
The Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., McAdoo, is assisting the family with arrangements.
