Bernard E. Mihalick, Sr., 73, of Tamaqua, passed away Friday morning at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem.
He was born in Hazleton, and of the Roman Catholic faith.
Prior to retiring, he was employed at Morgan Knitting Mills, Hometown, and proprietor of Bernie Mihalick Coil Cleaning & Repairing.
Bernie was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed going to car shows to display his 1974 Camaro. Bernie belonged to many clubs and organizations
Preceding him in death was his sister Marlene Mihalick.
Surviving, are his son Bernard E. Mihalick, Jr. and wife Jeannie of Kelayres; grandson Bernard Mihalick, III; sister Marilyn Shenosky of McAdoo; stepdaughter Jamie Turner and husband Chris of Tamaqua; step-grandchildren Ryan and Leah.
A memorial service will be held Monday, August 16, at 7 p.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, Inc., McAdoo. A calling hour will also be held from 6 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
