Ann Marie Minarchick, 90, of McAdoo, passed away Thursday evening at the Mahoning Post Acute Nursing and Rehab Center, Lehighton.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Chapko) Hollick, and of the Ukrainian Catholic faith. She was a McAdoo High School graduate, class of 1953.
Prior to retiring, she was employed in the local garment industry.
Ann Marie was gifted at sewing and found joy in decorating her home for the holidays. She also loved collecting antiques, treasuring the stories and charm they held.
Preceding her in death, was her sister, Dolores Krevitski.
Surviving are her daughter, Sandra Duda and husband Michael of Lehighton; granddaughter, Zoryana Duda; brother, John R. Hollick and wife Rosemary of Maryland; and several nieces and nephews.
A Divine Liturgy with Office of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, McAdoo, by Rev. Mark Fesniak on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
A calling hour will be held Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church.
