Steven R. Pavelko

Steven R. Pavelko, 73, of Haddock, passed away suddenly Monday morning at his home.

Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Stephen and Helen (Bogwist) Pavelko.

Steven was a member of the former St. Stanislaus R.C. Church, Hazleton. He was a graduate of West Hazleton High School, class of 1969.

Prior to retiring, Steven was employed for over 40 years at HPG International, Mt. Top.

He was a proud member of the Flying Aces Motorcycle Club. Steven was a true history buff and enjoyed fishing, boating and many family trips to the beach. He most enjoyed visiting and facetiming with his grandchildren in Myrtle Beach.

Surviving, are his wife of 47 years, Lois (Heslop) Pavelko; sons, Matthew Pavelko, of Haddock; Keith Pavelko and wife Pam, of Myrtle Beach; and Brian Pavelko, of Haddock; grandchildren, Olivia and Gavin; brother, David Pavelko, of Beaver Meadows; and nieces and nephews also survive.

His funeral service will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home Inc., McAdoo. 

Calling hours will be held Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
